LACKEBY PRE-TREATMENT UNIT
Plug-and-play pre-treatment unit with small footprint
Lackeby Pre-treatment unit is a completely sealed plug-and-play compact unit, available in two types, with capacities ranging from 10 l/s to 200 l/s. The design of the units is customized. The Lackeby Pre-treatment unit is manufactured in stainless steel EN 1.4404 and contains removal, washing, dewatering of screenings and grit. Furthermore, it can be delivered with grease removal. The Lackeby Pre-treatment unit can also be equipped with a sand washer to be installed on top of the unit.

Lackeby Pre-treatment unit is mostly suitable at smaller plants or when the customers have the need of compact solutions because space limitations.
Another highly valued benefit is that the installation and start-up of the unit requires very little time, which is optimal from both the customer and in the supplier’s perspective. The customer needs only to connect the power, ventilation, place the containers for the screening and sand as well as inlet and outlet pipes.
Lackeby Pre-treatment unit is assembled in Lackeby Products workshop where also all dry tests are made before the shipment to the customer. This ensures that the quality is always achieved.
Lackeby Pre-treatment unit comes as standard in different designs such as:
Mechanical screening and grit trap: This device can be sized to handle incoming waste water equivalent, or 200 l / s. The device containing’s handling of Lackeby Spiral screw screen, Lackeby Drum screw screen or Lackeby Step screen depending on the amount of incoming water. The device also contains grit handling
Mechanical screening, aerated grit trap and grease removal: This unit is in pursuit of the simpler unit but adding that, this unit also is equipped with an aerated grit chamber and grease removal with a grease scraper.
Handling and separation of screening
The raw water enters the tank at the inlet where the mechanical screening is mounted for the separation of the screening. The screen is rinsed by brushes attached to the rotating screw. A press unit is, as standard, installed in front of the discharge in order to reduce the volume of the screening.
Grit and grease removal
The filtered waste water are entered into the sand trap and the construction of the screen gives a good distribution of the flow.
Control cabinet
Electrical cabinet is included if desired and it includes all necessary components for an automatic operation of the Compact unit, such as:
– Level Control of the mechanical screening
– Timer Control of sand and screening conveyors
– Timer Control of grease scraper
– Level Control of grease pump
The control panel is delivered in stainless steel and all wiring is completed at the factory.
All drive units are tested before delivery, which guarantees a smooth start of the Lackeby Pre-treatment unit.
